We are based in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania, a beautiful country with an orthodox-christian tradition of almost 2000 years. St. Apostle Andrew was the first one to christianize our land.
One of the main reasons this site was created was that one of providing quality chotki prayer ropes to all the orthodox christians that want to get closer to God through the Jesus Prayer. We have struggled to make our prayer ropes as traditional as possible. Modern prayer ropes are made of synthetic materials, some are no longer made using knots, but simple beads. We still prefer to tye them and also use wool rather than other synthetic materials. We invite you to look at our chotkis, and if you like, order some. |
